Sandra Bullock’s life changed dramatically after the adoption of her two children, Louis Bardo Bullock and Laila Bullock. In 2010, she adopted Louis in infancy, and in 2015 she adopted Laila. Since then, she has been raising her charming family with her partner Brian Randall, who is fully devoted to him.

Sandra said that Hurricane Katrina, which fell five years before her divorce from her ex-husband Jesse James in 2010, prompted her to think about adoption. After the disaster, something told her that her child was there, and she changed her mind about adoption.

Sandra noticed that her son Louis had a different attitude to life than her daughter, who is «fearless» and «ready to do» fantastic things in life. She calls Louis her «78-year-old son» because he is wise and attentive. She hopes that she will not spoil it.
During an interview with Adrienne Banfield-Norris, Willow Smith, and Jada Pinkett Smith on Red Table Talk in November 2021, Sandra said that sometimes she wanted her children to have her skin tone. «And I feel like a mother of white or brown children».
Since Sandra greeted Louis and Laila in her life, she put motherhood above all. Sandra’s life radically changed when she adopted her children, and she could not do otherwise.
